Data Center Layout Points, Printed on the Move
Against the record
FieldPrinter, from Dusty Robotics, is at stage 4 of 5 on our ladder: paying customers. Delivered and paid for, beyond pilots. The latest milestone on its record is from 10 Oct 2024: Dusty made FieldPrinter 2 generally available, and said contractors had printed more than 100 million square feet of layout with its robots.
This video comes from the maker's own channel, and makers show their robots at their best. The stage above comes from dated public records, not from the video.
From the video's description
A data hall needs thousands of layout points for hangers, anchors and penetrations. With a total station, a crew shoots and marks them one at a time. Dusty's FieldPrinter prints them fast, each with a 1" label so every trade can find its own. This clip is not sped up. But your schedule will be. #DataCenterConstruction #AutomatedLayout #ConstructionLayout #MEP
